Golder's NAPA is a family owned and operated business serving the Southern coast of Oregon. Carl L. Golder Sr. opened Golder's Auto Parts on August 13th, 1921 where he operated a belt-driven machine shop, machining and selling automotive parts in North Bend, Oregon. Four years later, Carl became an original jobber in the newly formed distribution program, National Automotive Parts Association also known as NAPA. Over the years, Carl was joined by his mother-in-law, Ma Golder, and his 3 sons building a successful business serving several communities up and down the Oregon coast. In 1976 his sons, George, Carl Jr. and Lee, took the reins from their father. His youngest son, Lee, and his son Allen became partners with full ownership of the business in 1991. When Lee retired in 2005, Allen and his wife Mary Jo gained control of the company. Today, their sons, Jesse and Matthew, the fourth generation of the Golder family, have joined the operation along with Lee's daughter Kathryn Billeter.

Golder's has had a long-standing reputation of serving the heavy duty and industrial logging & fishing businesses along the coast. In 1999, the family changed the name to "Golder's NAPA" allowing them to expand their retail and automotive parts presence in the communities using NAPA's national & local advertising programs.
